We empower more than 40 brand teams and support more than 10 million users across Norway, Sweden and Finland, helping those users to log-in, manage their online identity and data, and make payments for services and products.

Make an impact on all of them by joining User Foundations (UX). We play a crucial role ensuring we understand our end users, and build the products they expect. We are also part of the broader Schibsted UX organization, with 50+ designers and researchers collaborating and sharing insights. We host regular training, meetups, and other UX-related events.

About the role
We are seeking a top-tier Interaction Designer to help create our best work yet. As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methodology to create world class user experiences.

You will design key user experience for mobile and web applications, taking products from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, designers and UX writers.

You have a passion for transforming complex systems and fragmented experiences into coherent user journeys that elegantly solve the users’ problems and delight them. You can turn high level strategic discussions into tangible design concepts, and discuss interaction design details with fluency.

You thrive in strong product teams, bringing opinionated stakeholders along in the design journey.

You are a proactive, resourceful and driven self-starter–skilled at building cross-functional relationships and navigating a matrix organization when needed.

Strong communication skills in English are a must, as well as coolness under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to mediate and cope with rapid change.

Agile is your mantra, and user testing is your forte. Both early discovery work, rapid iterations during development, and usability testing of more established designs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with UX Researchers, Product Managers and Developers to understand user needs, test solutions and assumptions
  • Develop journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes to communicate design intent
  • Apply and contribute to design systems.
  • Collaborate to improve our way of working and envision possibilities
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A portfolio showing experience designing web and/or mobile applications.
