Your role

As a Qualification Engineer you are focused on qualifying equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment, from replacements to the introduction of new equipment. You carry out this in multidisciplinary projects, which ensures that, in addition to your independent tasks, you also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from many other departments. Your mission is to be and become a specialist in all qualification activities. This is a representation of your responsibilities:

  • You draw up qualification protocols, implement them and report progress;
  • You apply GMP guidelines and convert them into qualification activities;
  • You follow up all actions in accordance with the protocol, document the test results, quality incidents and deviations;
  • You define the causes, consequences and corresponding actions and you follow up on preventive measures taken in case of deviations;
  • You present and defend the approach of the qualification to internal stakeholders;
  • You participate in improvement projects;
  • You write operational procedures.
  • You carry out this job from the Antwerp region (Puurs, Geel, Beerse), and you have contact with numerous departments throughout the organization.

Your profile

  • You have a Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience;
  • You have knowledge of GMP / GDP and relevant experience with qualification activities (writing URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and reports, testing implementation and documentation thereof, Risk Analysis, experience with P & IDs, etc.)
  • You have previous experience in a GMP environment, preferably in Pharma;
  • Knowledge of or interest in Tech Transfer, Technical Writing, Continuous Manufacturing, security documentation for change control, Cleaning Validation or CIP etc. would be a plus;
  • You speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English;
  • You are administratively strong, pragmatic, able to work independently, critical and focused on solutions.
