The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.

Central Network Services drives and contributes to delivering cloud-based solutions and highly quality e-Invoicing and procurement products. Within this global team, the Change Request consultants act as post go-live delivery and subject matter experts towards our customers and internal stakeholders.

We are now looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team

to further drive these post go-live Network delivery items for customers around the globe. As part of this global implementation team, the consultant provides strong technical consulting and solution guidance for our Network services. In addition, the selected person plays an important role in securing Basware’s and our customers’ success and works in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders such as regional CR managers, our Product Management team, R&D, Production and Support.

As a Technical Consultant, you are responsible for:

  • Learning, understanding and mastering the Basware services and platforms from a technical point of view.
  • Handle technical project follow-ups of your project portfolio for both customer and any internal stakeholders during all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
  • managing Scoping and implementing small and medium sized Network solutions in accordance with delivery lifecycle and quality guidelines
  • Maintaining a transparent and efficient line of communication with all the involved stakeholders (customers and internal teams)
  • Implementing, testing and deploying document exchange flows on a Java based platform via different types of custom and standardized mappings for widely used file formats/standards (EDI, XML, UBL, IDOC)
  • Acting as the Network Delivery subject matter expert during the scoping, testing and delivery phases when being part a global project team for large multi-product and multi-solution projects
  • Obtaining and ensuring customer engagement through effective communication and proactive delivery approach.
  • Cooperating with internal stakeholders such as other delivery units, R&D, Product Management, etc. to assure timely and correct project deliveries.
  • Advising customers on how to use our solutions most effectively and delivering customer training.
  • Participating in continuous delivery excellence and process improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining the proper documentation for each project and the general solution.

Skills & Requirements

Ideally, you possess some the following skills or experience:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in one of the following: IT /Computer Science, Business or PR/ Communication
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Highly collaborative approach and skilled in working in a matrix environment with global distributed teams.
  • Quick learner with the correct hands-on attitude and a self-driven challenger, looking for continuous development and adding value to our processes.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical project delivery in a B2B environment.
  • SOP creation and management
  • Knowledge of software development and delivery experience with the implementation of software products.
  • Ability to take on both a technical consulting and communication and coordinating role.
  • Strong analytical and consulting skills.
  • Knowledge of EDI and XML, ERP systems, REGEX and connection protocols such as sFTP /OFTP and AS2, is preferred.
