As a COUNTRY MANAGER at Vaimo, you run your Country Unit’s operations in alignment with Vaimo’s vision, mission, purpose, strategic objectives, goals, values and policies. You grow, empower, coach, retain and lead a team of highly skilled and ambitious Vaimoers. You are responsible for market and business development of your assigned market, to drive client satisfaction and to make sure your organisation is well equipped to meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
From Tallinn, we run our International Country Unit. This means that we handle eCommerce projects in all markets where Vaimo does not have a physical presence yet. Vaimo International works with global brands/clients like Helly Hansen, Pronovias, W.EG. and more.
The International Country Unit consists of more than 50 employees. You will lead the leadership team for the International Country Unit, report directly to the Group COO and will be part of a global network of Country Unit Managers within Vaimo.
Moreover, as International Country Manager, you will also oversee a key strategic partnership with our US Country Unit. You and your LT will work closely with Vaimo US to ensure healthy and successful project delivery of all US/LatAm client work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take responsibility for managing key operations within a country including the execution of the overall strategy for the local market
Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Vaimo’s products and services in the region
Act as a leader, fostering a team environment while providing a vision for the team
Coordinating sales activities and assisting with sales meetings
Agreeing on annual targets and producing monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reports, which will be presented at the monthly management meetings
Recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring and mentoring and training
The Country Manager’s role is client-facing and so daily contact with clients is a big part of the job, therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential
Managing key client relationships and actively develop new business opportunities in the local market
As a Country Manager, you will be required to travel from time to time to gain and share knowledge within your industry and with your colleagues
Skills & Requirements
Management and Client Management skills
Must be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with some IT/eCommerce qualification or training
Sales and General Management experience in our industry
A charismatic leader and successful people manager with the highest level of integrity and maturity
Familiarity and acquainted with the eCommerce industry and knowledge of general IT
Solid background in Project Management and Consulting
Good command of written and spoken English
Willingness to work in a growing and changing environment
Ability to drive revenue performance and grow the business in the local market
Deliver the highest standards of customer service
Understanding of the local market’s politics and a culturally open-minded disposition
