Haglöfs AB is now recruiting a Material Coordinator to the Material team in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a Material Coordinator you will play an important part in contributing to Haglöfs’ continued success, by assisting the material- and sustainability team with data management and other fabric- and trim related tasks.

Main responsibilities and tasks
As a Material Coordinator, you are the link between the Material Team, our external suppliers and other teams within the company, such as the Sustainability team. Your main task is to be responsible for the department's various types of data in regards to materials and production.

In addition, you will work closely with our suppliers to ensure accuracy of data and validation of sustainable materials, to ensure Haglöfs high demands on sustainability and reporting. You will also be responsible for the material input into Haglöfs PLM system and the general maintenance on this data.

Material Data Collection:

  • Collection and organization of material- and supply chain data.
  • Maintenance of the material- and factory data in PLM.
  • Collection and validation of material certificates, both for suppliers and materials.
  • Support the Material Team with general data management.

Environmental reporting

  • Reporting and organization of key materials data to support environmental impact calculations e.g. carbon footprint
  • Reporting materials environmental KPIs on a regular basis to track progress against targets

Higg Index

  • Creation of template materials in Higg MSI
  • Monitoring of materials supplier participation in Higg FEM and FSLM
  • Extraction of data from Higg modules for reporting and progress reports.

As Material Coordinator you will directly report to the Head of Sourcing & Development and you will have daily contact with colleagues within Product Development, Sustainability and Material. You will also have daily contact with our suppliers.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for a driven, organized, and self-motivated person who aspires to develop within the area technical materials, data management and sustainability. To be successful in this role you should have/be:

  • Bachelor degree in Textile or Sustainability Management, or similar
  • Have good knowledge in English in both speech and writing
  • Have extended computer skills, especially Excel
  • Be thorough and service oriented with excellent attention to details
