An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition and Development Partner to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our office in Milton Keynes (also covering Bedford and Bagshot)

You will lead professional, engineering and management talent acquisition and talent pipeline. You will also lead the strategic learning and development agenda and provide operational L&D support across all learning pathways.

You will be great at:

  • Directly sourcing candidates via social media and job boards minimising the use of recruitment agencies

  • Providing the business with effective, timely and up to date recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the business and attract and deliver the best talent

  • Taking an active role in the screening and assessment process, reviewing CV’s and conducting interviews

  • Promoting internal and cross border development opportunities and championing employee referral programmes

  • Driving and developing key learning strategies within the business

  • Designing and delivering line manager training programmes to employees

  • Lead and support functional competency assessments and functional training plans development

This is what you need to succeed:

You are:

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Well versed in current thinking and trends within human resource and professional development
  • Flexible and thrive under a fast paced and changing environment
  • Results driven and metric focused
  • Pragmatic and flexible, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and change

You have:

  • MCIPD or equivalent (level 7) educational level
  • A background in talent acquisition and people development
  • Experience as an HRBP generalist in a large manufacturing company
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and flexible approach
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced use of Word, Power Point and Excel
