Job Description

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our fantastic team in India.

Today there are about 220 Swedish companies registered in India, and over 1 200 Swedish companies make business deals to a value of SEK 1 million annually.

Business Sweden India accelerate sales, propel landing, and minimize risk for Swedish companies in the South Asia region, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

As consultant with Business Sweden you will work in a vibrant environment where you will lead and deliver projects that provide support to Swedish companies in their international business development and global expansion

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a person who has an exceptional drive and a can-do mindset.

Duties include supporting our clients’ growth strategies by participating in diverse consulting assessments (e.g. market entry, feasibility studies, sector analysis, partners search) and promotion activities (e.g. support in driving platforms, initiatives, trade delegation and exhibitions). It will often include arrangement of and participation in business meetings between clients and local actors.

In addition, you will answer export-related questions from Swedish companies or stakeholder. Our relevancy with clients depends on our ability to bring new market insights, in-depth market analyses and a best-in-class strategic, consultative advisory.

Our projects mainly cover India and the South Asia region, although we often work in cross-market projects with our colleagues in the other APAC offices.

Skills & Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a higher academic degree, probably a Master of Science in Engineering and/or Business Administration from a well-regarded school

  • We believe you have a background as a management consultant and have relevant working experience up to 4-5 years (Consultant)

  • You have an interest in business development and internationalization

  • You are results-oriented and analytical

  • Team-working skills are highly valued as well as passion for and ability to handle new challenges

  • You have experience from an international context from studying or working

  • A high level of proficiency in both Swedish and English is a requirement

  • Location: New Delhi, Bangalore (with a possibility to start from Sweden and move to India at a later stage)
