Business Sweden India accelerate sales, propel landing, and minimize risk for Swedish companies in the South Asia region, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
As project manager with Business Sweden you will work in a vibrant environment where you will lead and deliver projects that provide support to Swedish companies in their international business development and global expansion. You will primarily help Swedish companies to improve business performance by creating value through maximizing growth.
What do we expect from you?
You will scope, sell, lead, and deliver projects that provide support to leading Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion - in South Asia, as in other markets in Asia and globally. The projects include market entry and growth strategies, market and stakeholder analysis, business partner- and target acquisitions, among others.
You will contribute in driving senior sales dialogues, insight driven origination of new business opportunities, as well as prospecting and developing customer value propositions.
Other role responsibilities:
Sell and drive projects of approximately half a million USD a year
Manage projects and/or programs and teams cross offices, and sometimes cross markets
Run focus groups and facilitate workshops
Manage and prepare business proposals and presentations
Identify issues and form hypotheses and solutions
Implement recommendations/solutions and ensure the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out
Skills & Requirements
Who are we looking for?
You have a higher academic degree within MBA, Business Administration and/or Engineering
You have 5-10 years of relevant working experience (either from the industry, or worked for Management /Strategy consulting companies)
You have performed successful strategic sales and have a proven track record of developing customers, deep customer insight and strong negotiation and closing skills
You are analytical, reflective, focused and action oriented
Ability to lead and motivate others to affect real change
You have in depth experience from multi stakeholder projects, including government clients (Swedish and non-Swedish)
Experience from living/working abroad is meriting
A high level of proficiency in both Swedish and English is a requirement
Location: New Delhi, Bangalore (with a possibility to start from Sweden and move to India at a later stage)
