As data- driven organisation we are looking for a Data Analytics Quality Engineer to join our growing Continuous Improvement Team in Västerås.

Continuous Improvement as central function covers any process step across different sites. To efficiently identify and leverage improvement potentials in such a bandwidth, we rely on exceptional teamwork of a variety of different personalities, skillsets, and experience.

With this opportunity, we are reinforcing our capabilities not only for troubleshooting, but also for sustainable improvement projects. In this role you will be part of cross- functional project teams supporting with data analysis across the different project stages from potential identification to solution validation - hands on. Processing, visualizing, and summarizing big amounts of data from different sources like production lines, offline quality tests, or individually generated data sets is one of your key responsibilities. To ensure efficient usage of generated data you will be the link between the Quality and the Data team.

Your combination of excellent analysis skills and understanding of technical processes is what makes you successful. As part of the Quality team, you are contributing to a structured problem- solving process as key for continuous improvement.

Great communication and collaboration skills allow you to build the sufficient network you need inside our diverse NV team to deep dive into your next challenging project.

Along the way you not only learn and develop yourself, but your way of working also enables others to easily access, leverage and share your contribution to sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identification of improvement potentials
  • Creating, processing, visualizing and analysing datasets

  • Participating in / leading data- driven improvement projects

Skills & Requirements


  • Degree in engineering, natural science, or similar field
  • Engineering foundation with understanding in electrical, mechanical, and chemical domains
  • Statistics, data analysis and visualization
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills


  • Strong organizational skills and used to manage a range of activities simultaneously
  • Analytical thinking & common sense
  • Strong sense of responsibility, and ownership
  • Have plenty of grit, a can-do attitude, a great eye for detail, a sense of humor and a curious mind
  • Passionate & purpose driven

Bonus Points:

  • Experience from battery or manufacturing industry
  • Experience in multicultural, start-up environment
  • Experience in quality management and problem solving like DMAIC, six sigma, lean, SPC, etc
