Our Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.

We are now looking for a Solution Consultant to join our APAC team based in Chatswood, Sydney.

As a Solution Consultant you will be a key contributor to the Solution Consulting Services team. You will work closely with our customers and project managers to implement our solutions, end-to-end with our customers. You will be responsible for scoping, configuring, and testing Basware’s solutions as well as provide training to users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in structuring, designing, estimating, and planning solutions that address the customers' identified business needs
  • Carries out implementations by capturing & translating technical requirements to clear project deliverables for our customers. Creating and updating the solution documentation
  • Configures agreed features for Basware’s solutions to meet customer’s needs including testing of end- to - end Basware Software Solutions. Implements interfaces to the existing software environment (e.g., ERP, Archive, Purchasing)
  • Consults and coaches’ customers in using our solutions efficiently, clarifies the best practices and use case scenarios related to the Basware solutions. Understands and consults on Purchase to Pay business processes
  • Creates and delivers high quality standard training events effectively and trains the customer for best practices and use case scenarios of the solutions
  • Getting familiar with different ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/MM, Oracle) to integrate our solutions with them

Skills & Requirements


In order to thrive in this role, you will be a pro-active, outcome-focused consultant with at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar and 2 years' experience working in a software application environment. Previous experience in the Purchase to Pay domain and/or business processes such as supply chain would be an advantage but is not essential.

  • Your technical knowledge would include
  • Experienced in SQL and XML
  • Basic understanding of technical infrastructure such as SaaS, Cloud computing, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, IIS, and remote desktop solutions
  • Familiarity with ERPs
  • Experience with business processes such as supply chain management are considered a plus
