Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Energy Engineer to join our passionate team in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in one of the first large scale European battery companies. You will be a part of the environmental and health and safety team which is a central function supporting the whole organization in our giga-factory in Skellefteå.
The focus area for this position is to work with energy efficiency throughout the whole factory. You will be in charge of planning and carrying out energy mapping of production processes and facilities as well as ensuring collecting of data for power, heat, and cooling consumption.
As a part of the unit, you will participate in identifying areas of optimization for energy use in production processes and facilities, developing Northvolt's energy sourcing portfolio.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Motivating and supporting Process and Manufacturing teams in assessing and implementing energy efficiency improvement measures
Create reports on energy efficiency for internal and external use, including reports in accordance to the Swedish Law (2014:266) about energy efficiency in large companies
Take lead in the development and implementation of ISO 50 0001

Master's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Energy Engineering, or equivalent
Successful track record of leading energy process improvement projects
Capability to develop conceptual designs for energy recovery and distribution
Good knowledge of instruments and methods for measuring power and heat consumption
Knowledge of energy markets and national and international energy systems is a plus
Experience working in an international environment is a plus``
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Highly organized and result-driven with ability to understand priorities
Has a can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
