Take this opportunity to join the Trade & Invest Facilitation team in Stockholm, a great opportunity to grow in an analytical, advisory role to attract and support international companies establishing their business in Sweden.

One of Business Sweden’s missions is to promote investment opportunities and facilitate investment processes for foreign companies who seek to invest in Sweden. We work proactively in selected investment areas and industries that can be further developed through foreign investments.

We are now looking for a new member to our team Trade & Investment Facilitation. You will handle incoming inquiries from foreign companies mainly about how to establish a business in Sweden. Questions include rules and regulations, employment matters, taxes, business costs, location search and selection, external service providers, public authorities and more. You will also provide support to colleagues in Business Sweden’s Ecosystems as well as Swedish regional partners in different investment processes and client dialogues. The main focus for the role is to provide essential information on Swedish conditions relevant for the international companies decisions in favor of Sweden.

Business Sweden is utilizing GIS, a digital map tool, to visualize and analyze data and business opportunities in Sweden, for example by illustrating clusters and presenting available establishment sites across Sweden. In your role, you will be a key user in our platform ArcGIS and be responsible for data collection, visualization and analyzing data, as well as the development of the tool and new maps. You will work closely with Swedish regions and municipalities to support in adding new sites and also support international companies in site selection processes. You will also be able to create and present valuable reports to clients in important investment processes, as well as manage and drive new projects in this digital tool.

In the role as Investment Advisor,

  • You independently handle incoming inquiries from international companies and secure we provide essential information to relevant clients in a service-minded way to support decision-making and facilitate establishment processes.

  • You research and produce generic and tailor-made information on Swedish conditions and requirements for establishments including factual based information.

  • You are our key user of the platform ArcGIS, responsible for both data collection and visualization.

  • You present produced information in clear and structured formats, easy accessible for investors and target groups in different investment processes.

  • You cooperate with different internal teams as well as external partners.

Skills & Requirements

Formal requirements in the role:

  • A Master of Business administration or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience from investment or trade promotion work is meriting.
  • Experience from working in projects focused on information search and fact finding is required, experience from leading such projects is meriting.
  • Competence in handling of statistical information from different types of data sources.
  • Previous experience in ArcGIS environment is meriting.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English.

  • High level of communication and presentation skills, including interaction with different teams, across units as well as with external parties.

You will report to the Manager, Trade & Invest Facilitation. The position is based in the Business Sweden office in Stockholm.
