Haglöfs AB is now recruiting a Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising Manager to the HQ Trade Marketing team in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising Manager, you will play an important part in contributing to Haglöfs’ continued success, executing the trade marketing strategy. Your role will be to activate Haglöfs as a Brand and our products in our Brand Stores and key wholesale retailer stores by implementing, tracking, and improving instore activation excellences. The ultimate goal for this role is to make an impact on our target consumers and drive the Haglöfs Brand preference in all instore consumer touchpoints to secure Haglöfs sustainable and profitable growth.
Next to this you will be the project leader for several projects which has been defined in the trade marketing strategy where you will have a strong focus to

  • make the Visual Merchandising guidelines for the Brand Stores and the Shop-in-Shop locations
  • design and implement new Soft-Shop and Pants display solutions at wholesale retailers
  • Improve the instore consumer decision journey by extending the Haglöfs brand visibility
  • Digitalize our way of working to engage with Haglöfs retail staff through the implementation of Myagi.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Ensure premium executions of the monthly seasonal campaigns.
  • Managing the external agency who is executing the seasonal VM update and key campaign roll-out in Haglöfs Brand Stores.
  • Brief Brand Store specific content requirements, to the HQ Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team.
  • Develop guidelines and adapt toolkits for marketing campaigns (tailor-made) for the Brand Stores.
  • Evaluate and report impact of monthly seasonal campaigns, based on a defined set of Sales and Marketing KPIs.
  • Must understand the shopper journey and come up with solutions to optimize moments of contact with the consumer.
  • Visit and actively build relationship and seek alignment with Brand Store staff.

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in similar jobs in a consumer-focused organization with own Brand Stores (sports, fashion, consumer electronics).
  • Good skills in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (Id, Ps, Ai) to adjust trade marketing toolkits to be used in Haglöfs Brand Stores.
  • Have relevant experience in online (Trade) Marketing and understand how to work with own Brand Stores.
  • Know how to influence consumers and Haglöfs Brand Stores commercial team, and you are commercially oriented.
  • Have excellent communication skills, are pragmatic and have a proactive attitude.
  • Used to working as a project leader.
  • Possess excellent command of the English language.
  • University degree in (digital) marketing, business, communication and/or brand management is seen as an advantage.

As the Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising Manager, you will report directly to Head of Trade Marketing. The employment will start 1st of June 2021. However, we do realize that we potentially need to take termination period into account.
