The Opportunity

In order to grow our Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) Business in Ireland it is important that we are a relevant partner to one of our key clients. This organisation is undergoing a significant Transformation agenda, and we at Capgemini aspire to increase our relevance to this agenda.

Capgemini is seeking a Vice President/Partner level executive to play a key role in the growth and development of this important global account in the Banking/Capital Markets sector in the UK Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. The executive will be responsible for strategy, growth and client delivery for a large, global strategic client.

The ideal candidate will have professional services/consulting experience, large global account management, systems technologies knowledge, credible experience with large scale business transformation and a proven track record of selling to large clients in the industry. The candidate will have demonstrated a high degree of collaborative business practices in his/her previous executive position. Global, multi-cultural experience with various offshore delivery models/strategies is required.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Formulating our Capgemini point of view on these businesses, and their respective challenges and opportunities
  • Growing our CxO relationships, both to secure insight and to position our Capgemini capabilities
  • Positioning Capgemini to be relevant to the client Transformation
    agenda
  • Proactively building relevant propositions and client business cases to accelerate Transformation
  • Orchestrating the breadth of Capgemini from the SBU, Practices and GBLs to design and deliver these Integrated business propositions
  • Motivate and refresh our Capgemini Team & People in support of these key Banking clients, to ensure that we proactively bringing the best talent to bear
  • Own the Business Operations for our Capgemini P&L to ensure that we maximize the value of these relationships (e.g., Bookings, Revenue, CM, GOP, DOR)
  • Engage the broader market and Ecosystem (e.g., Alliances) to position Capgemini as an effective Transformation Partner.

  • Ability to establish immediate credibility among his/her peers, a professional who is respected for his/her intelligence and consulting expertise
  • An engaging interpersonal style complimented by the analytical pragmatism necessary to quickly dissect highly complex issues and willingness to take risk
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the professional staff, senior level executives, and the business community at large
  • Demonstrate an ability and willingness to partner internally and externally to achieve the appropriate objectives for clients and the Financial Services global business unit
