We’re on the lookout for a senior Product Owner to help us build compelling customer experiences on the back of our e-commerce and CRM platforms.

As a Product Owner, you’ll be working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class marketing and e-commerce solutions that balance the needs of our customers against our business goals and objectives.

We have recently invested in a number of leading marketing and ecommerce platform solutions and we are now at a stage where we can integrate these platforms to deliver more compelling customer experiences that will help us to attract more customers, drive engagement and build loyalty.

Your role will be to define a clear vision for this product area, to build the roadmap and to deliver key initiatives in market. You will play a key role between the business and technology organization to ensure all stakeholders are aligned behind common goals and objectives. You set clear expectations across the team and you drive the IT development team to maximize output in terms of customer and business value.

Key Tasks:

  • Build the e-commerce and CRM roadmap in close collaboration with key business functions including marketing, sales, category management, pricing, finance, supply chain and customer service
  • Drive business value by aligning customer needs and business goals and by prioritizing product improvements accordingly
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, define stories and features so they are clearly understood across the team
  • Act as the primary liaison for project and sprint delivery and contribute to the planning, execution and review of each development sprint
  • Work with the team to continuously optimize our agile development process

Skills & Requirements

Skills and expertise

  • You have a Product Owner or Project Management background, having delivered large-scale e-commerce/website/CRM projects with complex technical challenges preferably in a retail environment
  • You have experience in managing a virtual and geographically distributed team
  • You have a passion for the e-commerce and CRM space
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills and you are comfortable communicating at senior levels in the company
  • You are a strategic, creative, pragmatic and data driven problem-solver
  • You like change and working in a fast-paced environment—in fact, you’ll be motivated by it
  • You bring a ‘can do’ attitude
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies and principles
  • If you are a motorcycle rider or enthusiast, then that would be a plus

2005All started in a garage with two MX enthusiasts who wanted to change the shopping experience for their follow petrolheads.

2009Pierce AB began with the launch of 24MX by 4 employees. Initial focus was on selling parts and equipment to the Motocross world.

2013XLMOTO launched with a special focus on onroad motorcycle equipment. At this point a European wide presence was already built with the focus on bigger markets.

2013SledStore went live with pow passion and endless trails. SledStore is a Mecca for the Nordic snowmobile fanatics.

2016Our own European distribution center, PDC, opened their gates and storage racks to offer our customers an even bigger range, quicker deliveries and excellent service. Over time it's grown to almost 40,000 SQM - the size of six football pitches.

2018Pierce announced the acquisition of MotoBuykers, a Spanish e-commerce motorcycle player, to strengthen its footprint in southern Europe.

2019Pierce opened up for sales outside Europe on our global sites 24mx.com and xlmoto.com

2020Pierce was recognized as one of the three best eCommerce companies in Sweden with the nomination as 'D-Award' finalist.

2020Pierce rolled out a new state-of-the-art ecommerce platform to further strengthen the customer experience

2020Pierce received the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition, sponsored by Deloitte in cooperation with Nasdaq
