The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.
Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.
Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.
We are now looking for a Technical Consultant to act as XML development expert
contributing to building and delivering our first-class Network solutions for customers around the globe. As part of this central implementation team, this expert provides strong technical consulting services and solution guidance for our Network services with a focus on XML transformation development. In addition, the selected person plays an important role in securing Basware’s and our customers’ success, working in close collaboration with regional project managers and CR managers, our Product Management organization, R&D, Production and Support.

As a Technical Consultant (XML), you are responsible for:
Building validation rules using the Schematron validation language.
Taking an expert role by providing SME guidance to colleagues and units located onsite/offshore on our platform, the used XML formats and its core conversions.
Assuring the quality of assignments submitted by your colleagues.
Ensuring customer engagement throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
Drive technical project follow-up of your project portfolio towards both customer and any internal stakeholder.
Participating in writing internal technical manuals and assisting in the development of best practices/processes/templates where appropriate.
Addressing technical questions by provide guidance to existing technical support teams in resolving customer technical issues and concerns.
Ideally, you possess the following skills or experience:
IT / Computer Science Bachelor or Master degree.
Solid knowledge of and proven experience with delivering software solutions, programming and versioning.
Documented experience of working with XPath, XML, XSLT 1.0 and 2.0, XSL-FO and/or EDI messaging.
