Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Infrastructure Architect to join our passionate team in Stockholm.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

In the position as Infrastructure Architect you will oversee AWS Servers Running the PLM System Teamcenter. As a important part of the unit you will be in charge of deploying, managing and operating scalable, highly available and fault tolerant systems on AWS. You will be working intimately with the PLM Program team, the TechOps team as well as the Digitalization team to make sure Northvolt has a world class Cloud infrastructure running necessary product lifecycle systems.

In general you have a long experience in the field and have been driving PLM Server administration and even longer experience of handling database administration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
  • Ensure the PLM system is operational 24x7 unless otherwise down for scheduled maintenance
  • Work with other IT colleagues to define long-term systems strategies and roadmaps
  • Assist PLM business analyst/administrator with project schedules by identifying technical tasks and system dependencies
  • Install and configure Teamcenter (all layers, all modules, and interfaces & integrations, as needed) for all environments: development, QA & Production
  • Continuously improve and optimize system architectural elements, such as FMS\FSC, Enterprise servers & pool managers, web servers, distribution, clients, translations servers, etc. for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Monitor system regularly; ensure that the Teamcenter services & automated scripts scheduled on the server machines are properly running, Create and develop scripts or 3rd party solutions to enable effective system health monitoring.

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or in lieu of a degree, experience within a similar role in this field.
  • 2+ years of Teamcenter PLM Server Administration experience
  • 5+ years of Database and/or Server administration experience

Specific Skills/Abilities

  • Teamcenter PLM Architecture skills
  • Teamcenter DBA skillset
  • Deployment of custom template, binaries, schema, client (OTW/Thin), T4S, TCRA
  • Tc 2-Tier, 4-Tier Client maintenance
  • Performing Tc upgrade installation (AIX and Windows)
  • Tc interface for CAD applications such as NX, Revit
  • Tc troubleshooting, admin and, SQL
  • Cron jobs set-up and monitoring
  • Deployment and Support of Active Workspace
  • Teamcenter Volume disk space management, clean up and back up mechanisms
  • Server load Monitoring and Control
  • Cache/Volume (remote) installation
  • Scripting Language TCL, Shell
  • Managing Java installations
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and work with the team
  • Strong problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management with little supervision
