Service Support - Factory
Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a "Factory Support Specialist" to join our passionate teams in Västerås and Skellefteå. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Factory Support specialist will contribute to planning and coordinating corrective maintenance actions together with its team members. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to develop a competent and dependable team from scratch, capable to scale Northvolt's operations in Sweden and beyond.
You will be in on-call rotation together with your team receiving fault reports, support troubleshooting and bring in other on-call supportive functions.
As a Factory Support Specialist we wish you to be service minded and able to contribute to a great working environment in the team. You have good communications skills and problem-solving focus. We also think you have a "can-do"-attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with a safety mindset.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administrate fault reports and managing work orders
- Cross-functionally coordinate service functions on bigger issues
- Working closely together with manufacturing team, engineers and supportive functions, making sure the factory lines are supported 24/7
- Proactive work towards continual improvements of processes, tools and routines

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
- Fluency in English
- Good computer literacy
- Previous technical experience in manufacturing or process industry
- Valuable (but not required) previous experience in cell manufacturing
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Broad technical knowledge regarding industrial processes, automation and/or digitalized environments
