Business Sweden has a team of about 30 colleagues in our offices in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. Together, we make up a successful, progressive and dynamic market unit that is planning to grow extensively over the next few years.
What do we expect from you?

As a Project Manager, you will lead and deliver projects that provide support to leading Swedish companies in their international expansion journeys. The projects involve market expansion, sales support, stakeholder analysis, and operational support.
You will also be part of a business development team, drive client dialogues, and insight-driven initiatives of new business opportunities. You will contribute to ensuring that we are seen as a trusted advisor, with a clear point of view relating to our client's most pressing challenges in the U.S. market. Client dialogues are expected to be carried out independently where you will conduct outreach, proposal development, and closure.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person who has experience in strategy consulting. As a person, we are looking for someone who is a team player and a positive "can-do attitude".
Your experience requirements:
At least 5 Years of work experience, preferably from management consulting, having reached a project manager level
Great consulting toolbox and strong problem-solving ability across industries regardless of previous knowledge
Proven track record of leading teams successfully during intense projects
Knowledge spike in a functional area or within an industry is valued
Previous sales experience is valued, but at the very least you need to feel that you want to step up and drive sales dialogues
We are on a growth journey so you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and be prepared to whatever is needed
A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is a requirement
Start date is as soon as possible. As Business Sweden is part owned by the Swedish government, Business Sweden is, in its government capacity, able to support Swedish citizens with the work-visa process for the U.S. market.
