We are looking for a Business Manager lead a team that will play a key role in F-Secure growth by creating profitable business within mid-market and enterprise organizations. If you want to accelerate your career in the exciting and innovative world of Cyber Security, then read on!

In this position you will be a leader to our UK sales team, while also working as a member of our team to develop, nurture and convert new clients to our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering. You will be critical to the long-term growth and success of F-Secure MDR Business Unit.

Our service is designed to counter cyber-attacks from state-sponsored and sophisticated criminal groups, detecting and responding to compromise and attempted compromise across our clients’ IT estates. We have some of the best people in the industry, helping clients to significantly increase their security.

We are looking for a high- caliber individual to join our team and help us to grow our Countercept MDR service business. You will be based at F-Secure London Bridge office.

What we need…

The decision to purchase a service like MDR to protect against cyber-attacks from the best attackers in the world typically involves the CISO, CTO, CIO, and occasionally the CEO/MD, and is increasingly seen as fundamentally important for the board’s assurance.

As a Team-Lead Business Manager we would like you to:

  • Coach the local team and manage the business to achieve objectives set by leadership team.
  • Be a local spokesperson and the face to the business within the region.
  • Understand the Countercept value proposition and be able to tailor this in-line with prospect requirements.
  • Identify a strategic prospect list and work to qualify, develop and build credibility within these organizations.
  • Generate early conversations and opportunities – driving demand within target organizations.
  • Quickly grasp business drivers, plan and co-ordinate with teams of people within the prospect whilst demonstrating a well-structured, thoughtful approach to each stage of the sales process.
  • Move prospects through the sales process, identifying key stakeholders and mapping the business case.
  • Have a day-to-day interest in geo-political developments globally, and eventually show that you understand how a political event would be likely to affect the likelihood of cyber-attacks.
  • Motivate and lead the local sales team to develop, learn, and achieve results.
  • Work closely and motivate other F-Secure business units to promote MDR services to shared prospects.
  • Forecasting both personal and team sales and monitoring performance against targets on a monthly, a quarterly and an annual basis.
  • Participating in relevant management team activities, representing the allocated region.
  • Achieve the sales targets set by VP Sales.

  • A strong track record of exceeding both personal and team sales targets.
  • Ability to motivate others to work towards a shared and agreed goal, leading with example.
  • Experience in selling managed service-based solutions – ideally security focused.
  • Commercial acumen and a strong customer focused approach.
  • Familiarity with both direct and indirect sales models.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts into business insights that can be understood by prospect executives.
  • The ability to open doors at high level – specifically into the enterprise in the applicable region.
  • A consistent and logical approach to time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to learn quickly, being intellectually curious and a problem solver.
  • Working well in an environment where micro-management is not part of culture but empowerment is.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and orally.
  • Prior experience of Information Security and managed service sales.
