Join our passionate Performance & Life Validation Core team in Västerås as the Manager and help shape the future of energy!
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for driving project-related validation activities for cell development in Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles, and more. This includes reviewing customer requirements, developing test specifications, executing validation, and analyzing results.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of Validation engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
- Drive and be accountable for delivery of the project activities with regards to validation
- Work with the P&L team on strategy, roadmap and execution
- Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between customers and Northvolt's internal stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements
- MSc or PhD degree within relevant field or comparable work experience.

More then 4 years of experience from technical role in development of lithium-ion based technologies (with focus on Validation, Cell Design, Process)

Experience from large (manufacturing) enterprises in Automotive industry ( OEM, Tier 1 supplier)

Experience of leading a high-profile team in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with international customers and team members from both the technical and business development side.
- Recognize and manage the risk of cell / battery development and validation.
