The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.

As part of Customer Services Europe, Basware has a team of European field-based Implementation Consultants who understand, define, and implement customer requirements for Basware software solutions and services.

We are now looking for a German-speaking Implementation Consultant to join our team.

Key role responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Write code to customize and develop features for Basware’s solutions to meet customer’s needs.
  • Implementing and testing of end-to-end Basware Software Solutions Designing.
  • Implementing interfaces to the existing software environment (e.g., ERP, Archive, Purchasing).
  • Creating and updating the solution documentation.
  • Supporting the solution design, effort estimation and project planning.
  • Understand and be able to consult on Purchase to Pay business processes.
  • Getting familiar with different ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/MM, Oracle) to integrate our solutions with them.
  • Working on international projects in a multicultural team.

Skills & Requirements

Candidate qualifications

We would enjoy working with a professional, who possess:

  • Experience in delivering projects and pulling things together to meet end-results on time.
  • Be able to write code in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., VB.NET/C#, HTML, PowerShell).
  • Data conversion and integration understanding (e.g., ETL, Regex, XML, XPATH, JSON, Web Services, APIs).
  • Good SQL knowledge (Oracle or MySQL).
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting or some experience using Basware’s or similar industry programs is an advantage.
  • German language skills at least at C2 level, verbal and written.
  • English language skills at B2 level, verbal and written.
  • Understand process modelling and flow charts.
  • Enjoy working with customers.
  • Giving presentations and facilitating workshops.
  • Be able to produce structured and sound documentation.
  • Be able to travel.
