The Stock Plan Administrator will provide daily operational and administrative support for Meltwater’s global equity programs and will be a key partner in supporting all areas of equity administration in the U.S. and internationally. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Human Resources department. The role will require your expertise in prior stock plan transactions and administration while implementing new stock administration practices and platforms for employees in multiple countries in the Americas, EMEA and APAC to manage and exercise equity
Maintain Shareworks database and ensure the accuracy of all accounts and transactions.
Prepare and process new on-line equity awards, exercises, terminations and paperwork on a timely basis for all employees and other equity holders in 23+ countries.
Ensure compliance and accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting to global Payroll groups.
Provide excellent customer service to plan participants at all levels, while collaborating with multiple departments to establish sound equity administration processes and transactions.
Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding equity programs and processes in a timely manner.
Provide on-going education and support to employees related to equity programs and ensure educational materials are kept up-to-date;
Prepare reports and respond to ad-hoc data requests on a timely basis.
Assist in the implementation and administration of an updated stock plan.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5-years’ equity experience with a public company with an extensive global footprint.
Extensive customer service and administrative experience with heavy employee interaction in a fast-paced global company.
Must have well-developed problem-solving skills while operating in a high-stress transactional environment.
Experience administering equity under Shareworks / Solium.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders including Accounting, HR, Legal, external vendors and employees in multiple offices and countries.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires significant infrastructure development / implementation.
Excellent analytical capabilities, organizational skills and dedication to the details.
Fast learner and self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work and communicate globally and across cultures while educating employee base on basic equity issues.
Ability to perform regular reconciliations with Transfer Agent, Finance, HR and Payroll.
Experience administering multiple equity types and transactions.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters as they relate to equity in multiple countries.
Experience with granting, reporting and taxation of international equity.
CEP certification preferred.
