We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our Nordic HR team (20+). The HR team works closely with the business, and your most important role is to support the organization in achieving its business and operational goals by training and guiding managers and employees in HR matters within your area of ​​responsibility.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Provide full employee life-cycle service to the managers and employees according to local laws, collective agreements, common practices and HR policies
  • Secure that payroll activities comply to local legislation, and secure data and processes with outsourced payroll vendor. This role conducts Internal Control of payroll processes, and is responsible for transfer of monthly payroll data to vendor
  • Maintain and develop accurate employee data within the privacy legislation during employment life cycle
  • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to develop and provide reports and analyses, hereby work on RPA solutions taking advantage of our HR Digital environment
  • Secure and develop lean and compliant core people processes and practices in collaboration with the HR Operations unit cross the Nordic market, with a special responsibility for Finland
  • We will go into production with Global Workday during fall 2021, so you will also have a key role developing our “life-in-production” and support model going forward
  • Support recruitment, on- and off boarding and other HR processes
  • Take care of our employee benefit administration and development
  • Collaborate with Local HR Business Partner and perform responsibilities locally

This position reports to the Head of HR Operations.

Skills & Requirements

Your background

  • 5 years working experience within HR and payroll experience minimum of 2 years
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within Human Resources or similar.
  • Deep understanding of main HR Processes
  • Experience from international/ multicultural working environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken Finnish and English
  • Project experience from working lean/ process improvement/ tool implementation

You have deep knowledge of managing outsourced payroll and have attention to details and data accuracy. You are familiar with Finnish labour legislation and collective agreements and you can keep yourself up to date of the changes. You are an advanced user of HRIS (preferably Workday and Timecon) as well as your knowledge of O365 (especially Excel and Teams) are in good level. You have an ability to work and solve problems independently, you are organized and structure in the way you work, and you know what to prioritize.
