What You’ll Do: An Account Executive is responsible for pursuing new logo prospects and selling Meltwater’s bespoke solutions primarily into large business and enterprise markets. We look for self-starting closers who can source a large pipeline of business, as well as collaborate on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients. It’s critical you demonstrate a thorough understanding of Meltwater’s value propositions and will be responsible for all stages of the sales process:
Manage sales pipeline through pipeline creation, initial outreach, product demo, negotiation and close, and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities within existing client base
Take a consultative approach with c-level executives while navigating multiple decision-makers
Establish a “trusted advisor” relationship to determine needs and build value
Conduct activities including, outbound calls, emails, social selling and sales demonstrations with top tier, Fortune 500 clients
Skills & Requirements
What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the SaaS industry
Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to handle autonomy as well as collaborate with a team
Excellent organisational skills including prioritisation and time management
Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurriculars
