Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a talented business analyst to join our stellar team in Stockholm.

As business analyst in the Program team, you will drive business related and operational modeling of the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden, Northvolt Ett. You will work cross-functionally across the project to facilitate fact-based decision making as well as support other ongoing strategic initiatives.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive and manage the Northvolt Ett operating model, and work closely with the business to deliver on targets
  • Work cross-functionally across the project to follow up on strategic initiatives, operational performance etc.
  • Support in project reporting to senior management and external stakeholders (such as investors, customers, suppliers and partners)
  • Support Finance Team in funding efforts, such as building financial cases for future expansions

  • Support the development and implementation of analytical tools

The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. Skills & Requirements

Qualifications/education/experience

  • A relevant university degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar). Engineering degree preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years working experience from 1st tier management consulting company or similarly demanding analytical environment
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment is a plus
  • Fluency in English

Specific skills:

  • Working closely with R&D, Process, Automation, Construction, Procurement, Business Development, Finance you need to have a general understanding of all key functions of an industrial organization whilst possessing an analytical skillset to allow you to dive into detailed problem solving together with subject matter experts
  • You need to possess leadership qualities and ability to build trust and motivation with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of initiatives
  • Strong skills in analytical modeling (Excel mainly) and presentation skills
  • Experience in PowerBI is preferred but not required
