Our role of Architect is to find a solution for that complex problem that is as simple as possible, but not simpler.

As future member of our Insights & Data practice you will find yourself in a solid, committed and well-balanced team composed of senior experts in the domain of Analytics combined with a large group of ambitious, innovative consultants enlightening a fresh view on the subject.

As a future BI subject matter expert for fixed voice/tv products & Microstrategy visualizations specialist, you will be part of a corporate reporting team composed of SME's for other key products (internet, mobile, packs, revenues,…) and technical specialists dedicated to the development and maintenance of key scripts and data marts. This corporate reporting team sits within an even larger and mature BI community relying on best practices and on the efficient cooperation of its members.

Your role will mainly consist in the following:

  1. BI subject matter expert

  2. Analyze the products performance, validate and publish recurring weekly/monthly reports. This is a crucial activity since those results are communicated to investors and to the BIPT (telco regulation authority).

  3. Creating ad-hoc scripts to answer specific business questions, bringing together data from different reporting areas (product subscriptions, usage, customer profile,…).

  4. Adapt the scripts behind some recurring monthly reports (with the assistance of technical specialists)

  5. Assist members of the BI community to retrieve the needed data within the scope of fixed voice/tv for their own scripts/reports.

  6. Communicate with both upstream and downstream parties in order to assess the impact of data change or new data requirements.

  7. Perform data validations in case of changes in the data flow or data quality issues

  8. Understand the structures and specificities of existing and new fixed voice/tv products to maintain coherent reports

  9. Create and maintain documentation for seamless backup 2.Microstrategy visualization specialist

  10. Create/improve Microstrategy management dashboards and self-service reports for the whole reporting team (composed of SMEs in Internet, Mobile, Packs, Revenue, …).

  11. Assist and train the reporting team on a regular basis and less frequently (yearly/bi-yearly) schedule trainings for a larger BI/business audience.

As a result, you'll have an end-to-end view of the reporting data flow, from sources to end-users reports.

Technical skills:

  • SQL (preferably Teradata): at least solid basic knowledge and willingness to learn / intermediate level

  • Microstrategy (or at least other dashboarding tool such as Power BI - and willingness to learn Microstrategy)

Analyst skills:

  • Requirements identification and translation between business/IT roles

  • Testing - at least some knowledge

  • Data validation - at least some knowledge

Soft skills/attitude:

  • Team player with ability to work autonomously under limited guidance (big team of 14 people - limited time from N+1)

  • Manage multiple tasks and requests in parallel

  • Problem solving

  • Communication skills

  • Eagerness to learn about the numerous systems, tools and processes of a data-intensive company
