Angular/Fullstack Software Engineer

Our team in Budapest is responsible for Meltwater’s Source Management system, building suitable tools and algorithms, to provide our customers with the highest quality, most relevant and timely source information possible.
We are looking for an experienced Angular heavy Fullstack Developer to support our team in building advanced tools and services that improve and extend our Source Management. In this role you will have an immediate impact on the Meltwater customer base.
The solutions we build are fully web-based, offered as a service. The technology portfolio ranges from Angular, Ruby on Rails in the frontend to Java, Python, Go in the backend, powered by MySQL/PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
Our applications are deployed on a mixture of physical datacenters and AWS cloud, and we take great pride in the DevOps mindset and skills that allow us to manage all of these resources as a team.

- Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing, deployment, and operating the application in production

Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Angular(not AngularJS), RxJs, NgRx and Typescript, Material Design is a plus
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
- A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Experience with building and running applications in production
- Enthusiasm for Microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to technical problems
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Material design knowledge
- Java8+, Spring knowledge
- Experience with broker-based architectures
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/Elasticsearch
- Experience with a PaaS/SaaS cloud, preferably AWS
