Do you excel in royalty administration and have a passion for films and TV series? Look no further - we are now looking for a Senior Royalty Coordinator to join our financial controlling and royalty team!
Our film and TV rights are crucial to us and our royalty handling is at the heart of our business. The relationship with our partners and rights holders are key to us, therefore reporting and presenting sales and royalty information in an accurate and timely manner is essential. The royalty team has been working hard on implementing a new royalty system and there will be a need to continue to develop internal processes and ways of working to have a continuous improvement within this area.
As Senior Royalty Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing royalties and making sure that our rights holders are being compensated correctly. More specifically, you will:
Responsible for overall accuracy and timeliness of royalty reporting
Handle rights and royalty registrations in our Rights and Royalty management system
Reconcile and calculate royalties
Report royalties and statistics to different producers and associations
Work closely with the right owners, product managers, and business controllers
Analyze and register agreements in English and Swedish
Assist in royalty audits
Be the main point of contact regarding royalties with producers and rights owners
Develop and document processes and procedures to improve the workflows and efficiency of the royalty process
The position is based in Stockholm, but it is a Nordic role where you will have stakeholders throughout the Nordic countries. The role currently reports to the Head of Financial Controlling and is part of our finance team.
Requirements To be successful in this role you:
Have at least 3-4 years’ experience working with royalties in regards to films, tv-series, books, music, or equivalent
Have experience working with finance administration – such as reporting and accounting.
Have great knowledge of excel
Takes responsibility and works independently – yet are happy to be part of a collaborative team
Are communicative and service-minded both internally and externally to our rights holders
Speak Swedish and English fluently – other Nordic languages are a bonus
As a person, you are analytical and like to dig into problems and numbers. You understand the business value of accurate and timely royalty reporting and take pride in delivering correctly.
Furthermore, you are structured and have a good ability to prioritize tasks. You also enjoy taking responsibility for keeping deadlines and reporting to external parties for the areas that you are responsible for.
