We are looking for a Busbar Design Engineer to join our Battery Systems team in Stockholm. You will be given the opportunity to be a part of li-ion battery packs and systems development while being a part of enabling an industry and a society powered by sustainable energy sources.
You have experience with development and design of both copper and aluminum busbars, carrying high currents. You have a thorough understanding of pros and cons with flexible versus rigid busbars and You are familiar with busbar's sizing. You are familiar with high voltage products safety. You preferably have experience with design of bimetallic/multi-metallic busbar joints and different methods of jointing busbars. You are familiar with busbar's coating and plating methods and materials. You have a good understanding of production processes and have a proven record of taking part in the full development cycle of busbars. You are used to have a tight communication with busbar suppliers, making sure to meet design targets and cost-down activities.
You are comfortable with using DFMEA as a working method and know the importance for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly). As a person, you are flexible, aware of quality, and an individual who enjoys a highly dynamic workplace. You are structured with a strong personal drive and with a large portion of curiosity. You preferably have experience working with NX and have PLM/PDM skills.
