The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.

The Practice of People Enablement team in Basware Customer Services (CS) is responsible for driving the use and development of the internal training portfolio, that is targeted internally for CS employees as well as for our extensive Partner network consultants. Our main mission is to proactively ensure that the training portfolio meets the evolving needs of the business in terms of quality, availability and scalability, while innovating further possibilities to enhance these metrics.

We want to welcome a new member to the global practice team with e-learning development responsibilities for the e-learning courses in the training portfolio. The objective of the role is to maximize the value gained from our e-learning courses in our Learning Management System, by ensuring that these courses are well structured, comprehensive, up-to-date and contain high quality content. The Training Developer plays a crucial role in developing the e-learning courses as well as partnering with the subject matter experts (SME) to contribute to the development of these courses.

Skills & Requirements

In order to thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to be eager to enhance the content of the e-learning courses, training programs and multimedia elements in these modules. It is required to be social to be able to engage with the subject matter experts to contribute to the courses. In addition, the People Enablement team is a global and multinational team, so it is required to be fluent in both spoken and written English. Furthermore, in the position the responsibilities consist of following:

  • Develop and enhance e-learning courses within the CS Training Portfolio by using e.g. Articulate Storyline

  • Generate storyboards and easy to learn structure to the e-learning courses

  • Record, develop and modify audio to the courses

  • Utilize graphical and multimedia elements to illustrate complex structures

  • Utilize various screen recording methods to demonstrate Basware solutions in action

  • Develop assessments, quizzes or practical assignments for learners to complete during the courses

  • Engage to a dialog with the SMEs during the development of the e-learning courses to collect information and address complex structures

  • Monitor and analyze statistics & feedbacks, to drive continuous improvement on the courses

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and actively propose improvements to the internal training portfolio

  • Become familiar with Basware's product portfolio to efficiently enhance the courses

To succeed we expect:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Ability to work structured and independent way in a multinational global team

  • Experience from eLearning development tools (e.g. Articualte Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, etc.) strongly preferred, or strong skills on Powerpoint presentations.

  • Experience from generating, recording and editing audio with various tools

  • Effective communication, listening, writing, speaking and presentation delivery skills; Fluent English both written and spoken

  • Ability to produce well-written and visualized courses that are engaging, eye for details

  • Drive to deliver and a desire to improve
