Audio Developer for the Next Generation Audio Tool

This is a unique opportunity to work with true innovation.

Elias Software provides the most powerful and intuitive technical plattform for adaptive music in video games. We are now working with extending the functionality in our software to support all kinds of sound design in video games. Therefore we now want to reinforce our team with another audio developer.

You need to have 3+ years of professional experience from audio development using C++, at least partly during the last three years. We develop on PC but the core of the software is ported to different game plattforms. Knowledge in audio development for video games or music production tools is needed. Skills within frontend development is a merit but not required. You need to feel confident working with and communicating software architecture as well as with general knowledge sharing and mentoring of less experienced developers.

Depending on software module in the project, we’re using a combination of object oriented, data oriented and functional programming. The development is stretching from being close to the hardware for the signal processing to a high level of abstraction for content management and user interface. Some techniques that are used in the project are CMake, Conan, C++-11/17, Boost, Electron, React, Mobx and Unreal Engine.

The team is working with an agile methodology with a focus on long term quality and an innovative product development. The decision paths are short and there are great possibilities to contribute with ideas, initiative and responsibility.

The position is a full time employment at our office centrally in Stockholm. You need to have experience of working with Swedish companies in Sweden but only your English needs to be fully fluent, basic Swedish is a bonus.
