Vaimo Sweden is looking for a Technical Manager. Are you open to take on this challenge?
As Technical Manager you drive the technical agenda for our country unit, in alignment with the global technical agenda set by the CTO. You ensure implementation of best practices and standards within the country unit’s technical arena. As Technical Manager you play a central part of our success by continuously improving our delivery excellence. You act as a link between the local delivery teams and the global technical management team to assure feedback and improvements are prioritized based on both the global vision and local requirements and needs. The coming year you will, together with our PMO, lead the implementation of the delivery game in the Swedish country unit.
You form part of the Swedish leadership team and report directly to the Country Manager.
Lead the quality culture in all aspects of a project including estimation, quotation and project start.
Mentor and coach the technical organisation to grow our capabilities
Ensure non functional requirements (e.g. Security, Performance, Uptime) are being considered and met in projects
Drive best practice culture (reuse, code quality, documentation) in projects by leading with example
Drive Delivery excellence from the technical point of view
Drive culture inside organization by anticipating future technical trends in software development
Be an interface between Country Unit and Group Technical Services and work across Business unit borders
Influence on recruitment of technical capabilities.
As a Technical Manager you keep your competence at the forefront and spend time to develop your skills further.
Skills & Requirements
For this position we are looking for a technical leader with a skillset to translate the technical vision into actionable plans and lead the implementation of continuous improvements. You enjoy driving change and create engagement.
We believe that you are technically strong with a deep understanding of the different aspects of our technical deliveries together with a coaching mentality. You are motivated by presenting solutions not just to colleagues but also in-front of clients.
To succeed in this role you are a good communicator, have good organizational skills and a positive and proactive mindset. You enjoy growing people around you as well as staying up to date with the latest in our technical field.
