SF Anytime has grown significantly in the last three years by changing its focus from B2B to B2C sales and by using digital, data-driven marketing. Going forward, there are recent changes from the large studios as to when they bring movies to the viewer through which channel. These changes will benefit SF Anytime. At the same time, new entrants, such as Disney’s SVOD service, which compete with SF Kids will challenge that business. Therefore, the focus going forward will be to build SF Anytime.

The Head of SF Anytime is responsible for growing SF Studios’ digital offering of streaming services focusing on SF Anytime and its B2C and B2B distribution. He/she will play a central and strategic role in SF Studios’ continued transformation and focus on the fast-growing digital transactional space. The aim is to strengthen the brand, grow in terms of revenues and profit, increase customer satisfaction, excel in digital operations, continue to invest in the core technical platform, expand and develop offerings and business models as well as growing SF Anytime on new markets.

In this context, the main responsibilities of the Head of SF Anytime will be to continue the transformation of the business by:

  • Developing, implementing and following-up the department’s long-term strategy, operational plan and budget.

  • Assuming complete Profit & loss responsibility for SF Studios’ Digital Services business.

  • Further strengthening and developing the digital services organization, including ensuring a strong, dedicated and engaged team.

  • Securing that the organization is appropriately staffed with the right competencies and capabilities.

  • Contributing to, and implementing, a growth expansion strategy.

  • Leading and coaching the team on a daily basis.

  • Be an active part of SF Studios’ management group.

SF Studios is looking for an ambitious growth-oriented person with strong business acumen, leadership skills and a proven track record of growing and developing digital businesses. He/she should have an in-depth understanding of both B2B and B2C businesses, be an experienced negotiator and feel comfortable operating in a complex and competitive digital industry. Furthermore, the ideal profile has the following characteristics and experiences:

  • Experience from driving growth with excellent team-building skills. It is an advantage, but not a requirement to have leadership experience. However, the right candidate has leadership potential and a genuine interest in people and in developing into a true leader.

  • Has a strategic and analytical mind to guide the company forward in its expansion.

  • Has a strong commercial outlook with excellent negotiation skills.

  • Has previous experience from operating in a complex and competitive digital industry and in-depth understanding of driving both B2B and B2C businesses. Experience from the digital transactional sales industry is considered a merit.

  • Has previous experience within digitally and fast-moving companies/industries with a proven track record of growing and developing digital businesses.

  • Has experience in growing a digital business internationally.

  • Has experience from performance marketing and is consequently data-driven and has a history of instilling a rigorous, analytical and data-driven approach to all marketing activities.

  • Is a strong communicator and listener, collaborative and able to significantly influence senior individuals as well as being able to effectively challenge conventions.

  • He/she must be a doer, able to get his/her hands dirty and knows where his/her help is needed versus where he/she can delegate.

  • Recognizes the importance of maintaining a clear and strong brand.

  • Has a strong intellect and high learning ability. A background in management consulting is viewed favorably.

  • Ideally has media industry experience.

  • Has a degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.

To be successful in this role, he/she has to be a people person who enjoys motivating others. The right candidate is forward-thinking and makes things happen. Furthermore, he/she thrives in a role that combines strategic thinking with a more hands-on approach.
