Do you want to take the lead in an international company with a strong brand on an exciting growth journey? We are now looking for our next Group CFO, who will have great impact and a crucial role in taking Swecon to the next level.

Swecon is a partner of Volvo Construction Equipment and the leading dealer in machinery for the construction and civil engineering industry in Sweden. We operate mainly in Northern Europe with markets in Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with a total turnover of 8.5 billion SEK. Swecon is owned by Lantmännen and is an essential part of our global group.

This is what you will do

As Group CFO you will be responsible for the overall finance and associated business processes for the entire Group. Swecon is an international Group and we operate in five markets, Sweden, Germany and the Baltics. In this position, you will both act as Group CFO for Swecon Group and CFO for our Swedish market, Swecon Anläggningsmaskiner AB.

You will lead and manage the finance operations, including having ultimate responsibility for the Groups’ P&L, balance sheet, strategic planning, budget, forecasting and business processes. There are dotted lines from each country CFO in the group and it is expected that you work closely with our businesses, establishing and developing relationships on both local- and group level.

Furthermore, you will have managerial responsibility of four direct reports, consisting of three controllers and one accounting manager including an accounting-team. As a leader we expect you to provide overall guidance and a strategic direction as well as leading and developing you team, both from an individual and functional perspective.

As Group CFO you are part of the executive management team of Swecon Group, as well as the management team for the Swedish organization Swecon Anläggningsmaskiner AB. You will provide strategic recommendations and long-term business- and financial planning to the Head of Swecon and the executive management team. You are also part of the Leadership Finance Team, where all our Divisions within Lantmännen Group interact.

This position is located at the Swecon head office in Eskilstuna. Usually, some international traveling to our companies in Germany and the Baltics is expected. You will be reporting to Head of Swecon.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed

You have

  • Extensive experience from a similar role as CFO or Head of Business Control, preferably from an international context and business with an emphasis on sales, marketing and operations/production.
  • An academic degree within business, finance or other relevant field.
  • Leadership experience including leading other managers and financial professionals in an international environment.
  • Preferably worked with organizations in growth, having had some exposure to M&A.

  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English
