Job Description

Every year KTH Innovation supports 350-400 new ideas within many technology fields, from cleantech and materials to robotics, AI and digital services within health and internet/mobile. Key activities in bringing these technologies closer to market is various tasks related to technical development such as software or app development, design, UI/UX , hardware prototype development, mechatronics or electronics. Often the KTH teams can do a lot but in some cases we are in need of external consultants to support the teams and perform well defined short-time assignments. Consultants will most often be hired by KTH Holding AB which manages the funding programs at KTH Innovation.

The consultancy assignments is typically related to some sort of technical/market validation- to develop prototypes, demos, specific functionalities of a product or provide expert input on UX/UI or user testing.

The projects may be in different development phases ranging from early stage concepts to projects or companies with technology proof of concept, patented technology and pilot tests with customer. All projects have in common that they come from KTH and are based on innovative technology.

The assignments are typically initially rather small and range from 20 KSEK-70 KSEK and run for 1-2 months.

The assignment is typically done in collaboration with the teams. In some cases longer relationships can be formed with the startup teams and there is a potential to become co-founders of startup companies that emerge.
