Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Product Specialist to join our passionate Product management team in Stockholm.

As a Software Product Specialist, you'll drive the launch and roll-out-support for Digitalization’s newest products, solutions and features. You will have an opportunity to impact how we support our users and stakeholders within the company as well as our external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers, through developing our service center and email support. It is a big plus if you have experience from working in software or IT teams with product management previously.

You will work closely with various teams in Digitalization as well as other departments to surface user comments, launch feedback and technical issues in order to help make our products better and to streamline our internal operations.

We believe that you can write and talk about complex concepts in an engaging way that makes it easy to understand, and that you can balance business priorities and user needs. You’ll work cross-functionally to develop customer support content based on user feedback, analytics, product requirements. You’ll help develop our service center content and come up with innovative ways to educate customers and improve our processes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the plan and success of a new product launch, including defining and follow up on success metrics for a launch
  • Optimize our internal and external documentation and processes related to our products
  • Work closely with the product teams in Digitalization to improve our product offerings
  • Spend time analyzing our processes and investigating changes to help scale our operations
  • Write compelling, clear Help Center and user education content and analyze user behavior data and make content improvements based on metrics
  • Represent the Digitalization team by building healthy relationships with users to resolve issues, and driving engagement to ensure user satisfaction by users’ questions/feedback receive quality, timely answers
  • Identify and monitor key user operational metrics to help drive improvements to our product and support offerings
  • Manage technical issues by investigating and troubleshooting problems, escalating user issues, managing issue workflow and proactively identifying consumer needs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional peers on specific user-impacting issues and bugs

The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work.

You can be located in Västerås or Stockholm but around three days/week at our premises in Västerås will be required.

  • Have previous experience working in a software development context
  • Enjoys talking about technical concepts, has great analytical skills, and will be comfortable explaining how the Digital products works to a range of audiences.
  • Can empathize with users and quickly grasp the issues they're facing.
  • Enjoys the puzzle of solving open-ended problems.
  • Loves constantly learning about a changing technical product, even when it's a little out of your depth.
  • Enjoys leveraging data to make decisions and get to the root cause of customer needs

About the company

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe’s largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
