Do you take pride in making GDPR easily digestible to internal and external stakeholders and collaborators? Are you motivated by taking on lots of responsibility and being the go-to person in a medium-sized Danish/Swedish company? Then the position as GDPR Specialist at Clio might be just what you are looking for.
As GDPR Specialist at Clio you will become part of our Legal and Finance department where you will be reporting directly to our CFO. The legal team consists of two legal advisors/GDPR Specialists (this role being the one) and one Digital Rights Coordinator. The department is characterized by an informal atmosphere and consists of outgoing and highly competent people who are champions of each their area of expertise and work independently while mastering the art of teamwork.
On an everyday basis you and your colleague are the GDPR face of Clio while being responsible for communicating with clients and suppliers as well as our Tech and Commercial departments regarding GDPR issues to ensure a high level of compliance. However, as our GDPR Specialists you will be the primary go-to persons for all GDPR matters in Clio - internally & externally - for Denmark and Sweden. This also means that you will be advising and guiding all levels of the business on GDPR matters – from first line employees to our CEO. In other words, this position requires the ability to navigate complexity.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include the following:
While being open to your academic background, we imagine that you hold a master’s degree within Law (cand.jur.), Business Administration and Law (cand.merc.jur) or IT and Business Administration. Furthermore, you possess at least 1-3 years of experience within the field, but most importantly you are able to apply privacy law while understanding the need for practical solutions.
Additional requirements include:
As a person, you can see yourself fit the description of our Legal and Finance department, and you are able to navigate in an environment with a high level of autonomy and complexity while being able to explain legal matters in simple terms to colleagues at all levels of the organisation. We expect you to be proactive and solutions-oriented, and to take on a partnering mindset in your interactions with stakeholders. As this position operates at the intersection of Danish, Swedish, European and International Law, we expect you to be fluent in English and highly proficient in Danish (Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement).
