The workplace

You will be working from our office in Moss or possibly Oslo, but the work you do will affect thousands of customers, suppliers and colleagues throughout Scandinavia and Europe.

As Integration Specialist, you will operate in a dynamic team, spread throughout Scandinavia. You will be in close dialogue with Dustin's integration partners, suppliers, customers and other stake holders.

Your daily communication will be in Norwegian, but you must be prepared to communicate in English at all times, as we are an international company, and your team members are spread throughout multiple countries.

The Work

You will find your desk grouped along with your closest colleagues, in an office space with a hundred ambitious colleagues.

Initially you will work with connecting Dustin's customers to Dustin's ERP. Enabling the customer to look up Dustin's product catalogs and place orders, directly from the customer's own ERP system.

You will be the connector, the spider in the web, distributing information between the customer and Dustin's integration partner, who will handle the technical setup.

Your tasks are many, and you will need to keep track of a lot of information, ensuring that every thinkable scenario has been thought of, before the integration can go live, and enter the production environment.

You will be the person knowing which information goes where, how and when, by collecting knowledge and feedback from multiple parties, combining with your own know-how.

In time, your know-how will increase, and so will the complexity of the projects you are assigned.

Ordinary workday

Your tasks during an ordinary workday will include:
- Contact with suppliers, manufacturers, customers, colleagues and service partners

- Visiting customers alone or with other Dustin representatives, to help increase the integration between customer and Dustin

- Receiving error reports from Customers, Dustin business and other parties, isolating the problem at hand and locating the best resource to fix the issue

- Proactively seeking to improving existing and ongoing integration

- Testing connections, validating data and cross checking references

Skills & Requirements

The position requires

Filling this position, requires you be highly organized and structured. Experience with Project Management will be a good start.

You are an excellent communicator and fluent in Norwegian and English both verbally and in writing.

If you master other Scandinavian languages, or even other European languages, this will be a big plus.

You will have experience in supply chain and/or sales, having good understanding of the end-to-end order flow from customer to supplier. A background in purchasing or sales, with knowledge about SKU creation, return procedures, invoicing and other subjects related to Supply Chain and/or Sales will be helpful.

You do not need to possess much technical skill. More important are your abilities to collect information, instruct others how to use this information, where and why. This combined with your experience in Supply Chain and/or Sales and the needs of Dustin Business will ensure that the integrations you produce will be solid, optimal and on time.
You will have technical flair and the skills to learn the technical skills as you go.

You will be familiar with Microsoft Office, that is Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You will have a basic knowledge of ERP systems in general, and either have experience with Dynamics AX, or be able to pick up quickly.

Other systems used by Dustin are FocalScope, BI, Windows 10, Skype, Teams and Notes.

We set up EDI connections using standards such as EDIFACT, UBL, xCBL but we continue to adopt and develop new standards in order to keep up with demand and development.

Although EDI has been around for more than 50 years, it is still one of the most widely supported ways of exchanging information. Looking forward, EDI will be supplemented and maybe even replaced, by new comers like API and Cloud.
