HR Business Partner - Poland

Northvolt is developing its first facility to industrialize and produce battery systems. In order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market, we are setting up a state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions in Gdansk, Poland.

We are currently searching for a HR Business Partner, who will be responsible for the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives, recruitment processes, as well as the day-to-day HRBP responsibilities. This role will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention and the employee experience.

As HR Business Partner you will:

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Facilitate communication processes in the organization
  • Define with the management workforce required, taking into consideration business requirements as well as succession planning
  • Define job descriptions
  • Conduct recruitment processes
  • Promote diversity awareness in hiring practices
  • Taking ownership of employer branding, incl. job fairs, job advertisements
  • Conduct onboarding programs for the new joiners
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Provide data-driven recommendations
  • Coordinate team building events.

  • A relevant university degree
  • Min. 2 years of HRBP experience, including talent acquisition
  • Experience from manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Able to build up and maintain business relationship with many different types of stakeholders
  • Good team player, able to influence and convince other members of cross-functional team
  • Eager to learn and understand our production processes.

About the company

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, it will be Europe’s largest battery cell factory and produce 32 GWh worth of capacity annually.
