Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Project Engineer Process Utilities to join our stellar team in Stockholm/Skellefteå.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Project Engineer will be responsible of supporting the Project Manager and the Program Manager with multiple key projects within Northvolt Ett and the Process Utilities scope. The responsibilities of the Engineer include the coordination and completion of several industrial installation works. They shall oversee all aspects of the different projects assigned; set deadlines or work towards, establish and track budget frameworks, coordinate responsibilities with partners, and monitor and sumarize progress of project, as well as regularly reporting to upper management regarding status of project.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors in the execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Organize and coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility for project execution
  • Track project performance, and analyse short and long-term goals
  • Report on project activities and escalate within the program team as needed
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

  • M.Eng/B.Eng or M.Sc/B.Sc in a relevant field
  • 1-3 years experience with involvement of large industrial projects or industrial installations
  • Proven track record of seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment is a plus

Specific skills

  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel)
  • Fluent in technical English
  • Fluent in Swedish is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
