Lantmännen Functional Foods AB is a company within Lantmännen Biorefineries, focusing on the development and sales of healthy ingredients for food and feed as well as functional and medical foods. The company is characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a large corporation. For our most important ingredient, PromOat oat beta-glucan, we are in the process of increasing sales worldwide and build up a network of distributors. We, therefore, want to expand our team with a salesperson.

This is what you will do

Working with sales, you will be an essential part of taking care of existing business as well as building new business. Our customers are both manufacturers within foods, beverages, food supplements and distributors all around the world. You will have sales responsibility for existing customers, but your main focus will be to convert new leads to customers as well as identify and managedistributors. Usually, the position includes some international traveling to customers and trade-shows . Due to current circumstances, Functional Foods has successfully switched into a digital strategy, but most likely, travel will resume at some point. You are reporting to the Managing Director of Lantmännen Functional Foods and your location is at Lantmännens headquarters in Stockholm, in Norrköping or Lidköping.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • An interest in the area of food, food ingredients and functional food.

  • Experience regarding how to build and manage distributor networks around the world.

  • A desire to build a global business.

  • A proven successful track record of at least three years of experience from structured and systematic sales, preferably of ingredients, food supplements, foods, or life science products internationally.
  • Minimum some kind of relevant post-secondary education.

  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English. A third language is of value.

You are:

  • A person with a high energy level and drive, who takes initiatives, and sets and reach goals.

  • Curious and innovative. You enjoy exploring new solutions and approaches, which you also know how to structure and realize when needed.

  • Analytical and solution-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
