Production Planner - Poland

Northvolt is establishing its first facility to industrialize and produce battery systems. In order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market, we are establishing a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions in Gdansk, Poland.

The Production Planner enables high volume manufacturing process according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure that battery modules and energy storage systems are produced on time in a profitable manner. You will have an opportunity to be a part of international talented team of specialists.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Determine manpower, equipment and components needed to cover production demand
  • Assign number of workers and other staff to particular production operations.
  • Schedule shift according to production needs
  • Confirm shipment dates
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Participate activelly on S&OP and masterplannig
  • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
  • Collaborate with supply chain, purchasing, engineering, quality and other staff.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Relevant University Degree
  • Proven experience as production planner
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
  • Familiarity with CAD/MRP/ERP software
  • Excellent at math and statistics
  • Fluent English
  • Experience from manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel especially)

About the company

Northvolt was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery cell, with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Northvolt’s team of experts is building the next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration.
