Your challenge, if you join us
As the Senior Site Purchasing Specialist you have an exciting opportunity to work across all categories within the Indirect spend area. The purpose will be to act as a window person towards site specific requests, routing requests to other "purchasing departments” driving site specific categories, operates within pre-negotiated category contracts and act as purchasing single point of contact to Site management. Work in close relation with strategic purchasing function to maximize efficiency. Follow up on supplier performance and suggest improvements.

- You will be part of our Site Local purchasing in Västerås team but travelling to Stockholm as required.
- You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden and see the immediate results of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project and site teams with purchases and sourcing council approvals
- Develops procurement plan/schedule for the site
- Work closely with internal departments to help achieving the preset production plan
- Act as liaison between vendors and internal requester
- Handle local procurement of materials and services
- Follow up current contracts with supplier and adjust them to current company standards
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Has thorough understanding of the local market
- Minimize risk by ensuring alternative sources of supply for critical items
- Responsible to answer all of the requisitions process and order-related questions

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
- A degree in Engineering/Economics is preferable
- Working experience of more than 2 years in various purchasing function is required
- Experience identifying requirements and clearly documenting specifications
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience in working with local suppliers is preferred
- Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry is a plus
