Northvolt has an exciting job offer in the Equipment Purchasing Team in Skellefteå.
Your challenge, if you join us
You will play an essential role in the execution of the equipment purchasing project from Detailed Design to starting up the first homegrown European battery factory.
You will manage Equipment Supplier Contracts during installation and commissioning phase til production ramp-up and steer the communication between the supplier and cross-functional Northvolt teams. After start of production, you will manage Supplier Service Level Agreements and Equipment Maintenance, Operations and Repair Procurement activities

Profile:
In your previous professional work you have collected experience preferable in Investment Purchasing or with expediting contracts. You will work in a multi-cultural environment with suppliers and colleagues from all over the world. The work environment requires an enthusiastic problem solver that is adapting flexible to different situations.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree with preferred focus on Sourcing & Logistics or Engineering, and/or equivalent work experience
- Working experience of more than 2 years in project purchasing, project management or contract management function
- Strong project management and /or contract management fundamentals
- Experience with multi-cultural business relationship is a clear plus as well as experience and interest in the manufacturing industry
- Very good team player, able to influence and convince other team members and project stakeholders
Specific Skills/ Abilities
- Excellent English written and oral skills. Swedish, Chinese, Japanese is a plus
- Highly organised and has an eye for detail
- Can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
- Qualities that we cherish are flexibility, sense of quality, friendliness, motivation to take on new challenges, grit and a sense of humor
