Role: Sales Consultant, Client Acquisition (Thai Proficiency)

As a Sales Consultant in our Client Acquisition team, you will be speaking to a wide range of companies across all industries, and get a chance to work with some of the most exciting companies in Thailand. The right candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process as they liaise with C-Level Executives and directly pitch Meltwater's software solutions to them.

Our clients are typically in the Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing departments, and because Meltwater is a service that can value-add to businesses across all industries, you will get exposure to organizations of all shapes and sizes, helping you improve your business acumen with every step of the way.

For this role, we are looking for driven and ambitious professionals to join our team - someone who is passionate about sales, hardworking, intelligent, and well-rounded. By joining our team, you will be an instrumental part of our growth in Thailand.

Responsibilities:

  • B2B sales role where you are responsible for driving Meltwater’s revenue growth through consultative sales and acquisition of new clients, focusing on Thailand market
  • Drive the entire sales process from start to finish from prospecting & opportunity identification, pitching and setting up client meetings, product demonstrations, till negotiations and closing of the sale
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential prospects
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them understand how Meltwater can help drive their business goals and objectives
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Diligently keep informed of product developments, competition and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve
  • Collaborate and work closely with key internal stakeholders such as Client Success, Operations and Legal, etc

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in English and Thai (for B2B sales requirements in Thailand)
  • Preferably have experience dealing with Thailand market / clients
  • Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) with strong academic results
  • Currently residing in Singapore
  • Entry level / have up to 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Passion for entrepreneurship & technology, SaaS industry & media intelligence, and you should be a regular consumer of the news / media
  • Keen interest in consultative sales and business development
  • High level of drive & stamina to succeed in sales
  • Track record of successes and highlights in sales related achievements
  • Good to have prior experience with software demonstrations
  • Some exposure to sales processes from prospecting to closing of deals
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, initiative and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
  • International experience (academic, personal or professional) and held leadership roles in university
