Northvolt has several exciting opportunities open for Block Manager positions in the site execution team for our Northvolt Ett factory in Skellefteå.

Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. In joining us you will be part of Northvolt venture being involved from the very start in designing and building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

As a Block Manager you will be responsible for the planning of execution and reporting short term activities specific to your block of the factory. You will work closely with the deputy construction manager to realize that the execution develops according to overall project plan. More specifically the Block Manager will manage contractors, ensure proper coordination between the blocks and the cross disciplines, be responsible for a effective interface between the different stakeholders on site, QHSE as well as quantity surveying. Finally, you will handle change management in compliance with the established change order governance.

The person we are looking for has prior experience from managing teams in complex industrial construction projects. As a person you value teamwork and you are eager to learn. Skills & Requirements


  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Track record of leading interdisciplinary teams successfully
  • Successful track record of delivering complex projects in a short time
  • Work experience in multi-cultural environment
  • Experience in industrial construction
