Business development is a key function within the marketing team. Your role will be to proactively develop quality, enterprise level, pipeline through e-mail, telephone and social media outreach and to qualify and nurture incoming enquiries to the point of ‘sales ready lead’. You will be a key bridge between sales and marketing working to enhance and support marketing campaigns and working closely with account executives and sales leadership to target accounts and develop quality leads. You will be an extension of the enterprise sales team, working hand-in-hand with sales to develop business together.

Prospect and build a sales pipeline for the Account Executive team by engaging with marketing qualified leads via phone, social and email communications.
Qualify leads based on business fit, problem to be solved, relevance of contact etc.
Helping prospects to identify and sharpen their needs and mapping those needs with Basware Solutions
Developing relationships with prospect and expanding our reach and understanding their critical issues, business initiatives, stakeholders of the buying center and their buyers journey status
Drive leads through the early stages of the sales process by regularly communicating with prospects, sending appropriate content and hosting high-level demos
Build account data through desk research and outreach
Handover qualified leads to the Account Executive team at an appropriate maturity status, initiating calls and face-to-face appointments with Account Executives
Follow up with each Account Executive to discuss the result of respective meetings, and follow up appropriately to close the loop
Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot, producing regular activity reports as requested by the VP of Sales
Experience in a front line B2B telephone sales or telemarketing role within an enterprise SaaS vendor environment, including lead nurturing, appointment setting and pipeline development. All candidates who may not have this experience but can demonstrate the skills to the level required may apply and will be considered
Understanding of the buyer’s journey and the principles of value -based solution selling
Ability to comprehend the Basware product line and to communicate our value proposition to prospects
Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally
Must be adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated, and must work well individually or as a member of a team
Strong English spoken and written skills. Additional European Language an advantage
Strong data management and research skills required
Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot preferred
