Skills & Requirements

Position Details:

  • Work across a Software as a Service (SaaS) product suite catering to PR/Communications, marketing and C-suite insights.

  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for Meltwater’s portfolio of clients, beginning from the point of sale and extending through on-boarding, product implementation, business reviews and renewals.

  • Proactively engage each account to ensure that every aspect of the Meltwater platform and offering is being leveraged, maximizing the value of each Meltwater subscription.

  • Work in a close-knit team environment that embraces positive, passionate and dynamic relationships with colleagues and clients.

  • Open up the Meltwater product suite to existing customers, helping improve their strategy and grow the value of your portfolio

  • Annual On Target Earnings (OTE) of $120k AUD, uncapped

Is this you?

  • Overachiever at high school and university

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Minimum 6 months full time work experience (candidates with SaaS products and account management experience prefered, not essential)

  • Can demonstrate track record of effectively managing high workload

  • Keen interest in news, current affairs and social media

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Eligibility to legally work in Australia

What does the first 2 weeks look like?

  • Induction- meet your MD, direct line manager and colleagues

  • Learn more about Meltwater’s vision, culture and place within the market in AUNZ

  • Extensive training on the Meltwater platform across all product lines

  • Gain access to your portfolio of clients, understand how they work with Meltwater and approach the media

  • Extensive training on how to navigate Meltwater’s CRM system

  • Work closely with your manager to practise first client calls and meetings

What does the first 3 months look like?

  • On the job training and mentoring with your line manager: coaching and shadowing you on calls and meetings

  • In depth training on the Australian media landscape and where your portfolio of clients are focusing

  • Following a “Client Success Calendar” to learn efficient and organised working habits across your whole portfolio

  • “Ramp up” KPI’s and bonuses based off meeting your clients and renewing business.

  • Periodic product training seminars/webinars to further your knowledge of the Meltwater platform

  • Work closely with your Growth Manager to identify potential new product sales opportunities

What does months 3-6 look like?

  • Quarterly Review with your MD and line manager to discuss how the first three months of the role have gone: focusing on both measurable KPIs and your personal development in the role.

  • Start of Client Success Representative retention and growth target model, focusing on strong renewal and working ahead methodology as well as growing the size of your portfolio through new product sales.

  • Contributions to both your team and office profitability metrics and targets

  • Travel to another Meltwater office in Australia for client meetings and to meet more Meltwater colleagues from a different state.
