Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part in building one of the first large-scale European battery factories, a great step forward in the transformation to a carbon free society. Given the timing at which you will be joining Northvolt and the early stage of the company, you will be given a unique chance to impact the development of a new company and industry in Sweden.

We are looking for a self-led Compensation & Benefits Specialist who is structured and has a hands-on mentality. You will support the different teams at Northvolt with a wide range of Compensation & Benefits matters. Your work will consist of, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Working on and developing our benefits offering together with external providers and systems
  • Develop and manage the annual salary review process in strong cooperation with the rest of the HR team and management
  • Gender pay gap reporting
  • Day-to-day responsibility of our Long Term Incentive program
  • Process ownership and development of the compensation module in our new HR system together with the HRIS team
  • Act as an internal specialist to HR and stay on top of market practice, and co-create innovative solutions and offerings to further strengthen our employee value proposition

Skills & Requirements

Who you are
We believe that you have a proven track record from a similar role. Experience from working with Swedish collective bargaining agreements and unions is a big plus, as well as good knowledge of Swedish benefits taxation. Long Term Incentives are an important part of our employee offering, and we’d appreciate if you have previous experience of, and interest in, managing employee equity programs.
